Concorde2 join Shakedown!

Just over 5 weeks to go and we have a very special announcement... Brighton’s premier live music venue, Concorde 2, will host the Main Stage at this summer’s ultimate closing party!

Proud to be part of a city famed for its musical talent and storming nightlife, Concorde 2 and Shakedown Festival are united in their desire to showcase the finest Brighton talent. The Shakedown line-up features an eclectic range of international names which also aims to champion Brighton’s homegrown talent, and is thrilled to be doing so with the support of this distinctly Brightonian music institution.

In anticipation of their role as Main stage hosts, Concorde 2 will be hosting a free Shakedown pre-party on August 26th!

Featuring Brighton-based stars in the making, such as Watts the SP – who will open the Concorde 2 Main Stage on the day – and electro-pop sensation Kovak, this pre-party will give festival-goers a tantalising preview of the local artists on the Shakedown bill. We'll be releasing more details of this exclusive gig very soon.

We'll be covering all the ones to watch on September 17th in our Brighton Homegrown series. The first to give us the lowdown are Freemasons, one of Brighton's finest exports whose homecoming gig comes hot on the heels of recent remixes for a variety of cutting-edge talent and promises to boast a progressive mix of all things dance.
